Position Summary

 

 

The ideal candidate will bring a unique blend of scientific expertise and business acumen, with a strong background in biotech or pharma. We are looking for someone who is passionate about evaluating cutting-edge life science technologies, conducting thorough technical diligence, and navigating complex regulatory landscapes.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Support CBO to conduct comprehensive technical business diligence, assessing opportunities for licensing, partnerships, internal development;
  • Work alongside legal and IP team to evaluate competitive landscape for new therapeutics.
  • Support due diligence and transaction execution efforts as well as manage electronic data rooms and databases;
  • Conduct extensive literature reviews and create libraries to support therapeutic and/or industry reviews. Utilize these insights to advocate for or support strategic transactions, contributing to the company's overall growth strategy.
  • Assist in other tasks as assigned;

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in molecular biology, genetics, or biochemistry. PhD or MD highly preferred. MBA and/or JD a plus..
  • 8 years of experience with MD/PhD or 10 years with masters and at least 5 years of industry experience in biotech or pharma, with diligence experience in licensing and collaborations in innovative therapeutics
  • Certificates (LES, CFA, Bar) viewed favorably
  • General understanding of IS/BS/CF financial statements and marketing analyses. Experience with reviewing agreements and contracts as required for business diligence.
  • Understanding of the central dogma and Mendelian genetics
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, multi-cultural work environment;
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills;
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability and desire to learn complex issues;
  • Provide biopharma deal sheet at end of CV with disclosable transaction details and role(s).
